Bills vs Dolphins Recap
The Bills and Dolphins game went right down to the wire, but the Dolphins were able to hang on for the 21-17 victory. The Bills had several miscues on special teams which derailed the momentum the Bills were able to generate. They were also called on several penalties which ended drives for the Bills and kept alive Dolphin drives. With that said, the Bills still had a chance to win the game, but Charles Clay couldn’t haul in a wide open pass from Allen on 4th down. Buffalo falls to 4-8 on the season.
Josh Allen played the game the Bills needed to win. Outside of one of his interceptions, where he targeted Kelvin Benjamin and threw the ball extremely short, Allen played very well. For the second week in a row, Allen rushed for over 90 yards, this week going for 135 yards on only nine carries. Allen’s ability to consistently run the ball should provide dividends for many years to come.
Overall, the Bills played a good game, but penalties and turnovers will undermine those efforts and like today, will cost a team a win. The Bills have four games remaining on the season, all of which, outside the Patriots game, are very winnable.
