Kyle Willams Announces Retirement

All-time great Buffalo Bill, Kyle Williams announced his retirement following this week’s game against the Dolphins. Williams career wasn’t supposed to last this long and most certainly wasn't going to matter this much to a city. A former fifth round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, Williams came out of LSU as an under sized Defensive Tackle. Measuring just 6’ 1” and weighing only 299 lbs. Williams was considering small entering the NFL. Turns out, his size didn’t matter, but the blue collar work ethic that embodies Buffalo would propel Williams to one of the best players in Bills history.

Kyle Williams will surely be on the Bills’ Wall of Fame one day, and an argument can be made to have his jersey number placed in reduced circulation along with O.J. Simpson and Andre Reed.

Williams will finish his career with 183 games played and nearly 50 sacks, which are 7th and 5th best respectively in franchise history.

Thank you, Kyle for all you gave Buffalo over the past 13 years.
