Bills vs Jets Preview

Who: Buffalo Bills (4-8) vs. New York Jets (3-9)

When: Sunday, December 9th 1:00 p.m.

Where: New Era Field

The Buffalo Bills take on the New York Jets this week and will look to win their second game against them this season. Last time out, the Bills trounced Jets, winning decisively by a score of 41-10. However, this game will be a little different with both teams sending out new starting Quarterbacks. Rather than a second matchup of Matt Barkley and Josh McCown, it’ll be Josh Allen for the Bills and most likely Sam Darnold for the Jets.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Bills’ passing game looks like as Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes were both released earlier this week. I expect Zay Jones and Robert Foster to lead the way, with Isaiah McKenzie playing a significant amount of snaps as well. In addition to that, hopefully McCoy can get it going once again, as he was able to run for 113 yards and two touchdowns last time out against the Jets.

The Bills defense should also be in line for a big day as well. Sam Darnold has already thrown 14 interceptions so far this season, and I expect the Bills to be able to generate enough pressure and force Darnold to make contested throws into coverage. Additionally, the Jets don't have a single standout offensive player either.

Similar to last week, this game is also a toss up, and I’ll once again give the home team a slight advantage.
