Bills vs. Bears Recap

What. A. Game.

Just as it looked like all hope was lost when the Bills entered halftime down 20-0 for the second straight week, AJ McCarron and the rest of the Bills put on an absolute show in the second half winning the game on a 6 yard touchdown reception by Keith Towbridge to win the game 28-27. This proves once again that no one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills! Several Bills across the board had strong showing and made their final case to be included on the 53 man roster. We'll start with McCarron, although he struggled mightily in the first half, which included a pick-6 on a quick out, he bounced back in the second half and operated the offense quite well once he had time to throw from the pocket. McCarron finished the night going 13/34 for 156 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. I will have my 53 man roster predictions sometime before cuts, but I think the Bills showcased McCarron for other teams around the league. Look for McCarron to be traded for a 5th or 6th round pick. For the Running Backs, I thought both Ford and Cadet played well and should get calls from other teams when cut by the Bills. None of the receivers played well enough to separate themselves from the pack. That's hard to do when 10 different players catch a pass, and not a single one of those guys catch anymore than three passes.

On the Defensive side of the ball, Siran Neal led the team with 10 tackles, playing by far and away his best game thus far. There was talk that he may not make the team, even though the Bills just drafted him, but after this game it's hard not to see him on the team. Tanner Vallejo also had a nice game, diving to break up a pass across the middle, and registered the team's only sack of the night.

The Bills must cut down their roster to 53 men by Saturday at 4pm. As I mentioned, look for my predictions on who makes the team coming shortly.
