Jackson Uses 4th Quarter To Bolster Draft Stock

Former University at Buffalo Quarterback Tyree Jackson was a late add to the Senior Bowl roster, but certainly made the most of his opportunity. Tyree Jackson finished the game going 12-20 for 157 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Jackson started strong, hitting Gary Jennings for a 54 yard completion on Jackson’s first play. The former UB product showed great mobility, scrambling for 11 yards on a 3rd and 10.

The Senior Bowl and the weeklong practices leading up to the game showcases some of the country’s top talent. No one helped pushed their draft stock higher than Jackson did today. His arm strength, coupled with his size and mobility will entice scouts across the league. Lastly, if mental toughness was ever a question when it came to Jackson, he helped silence those possible concerns during his limited action. After throwing across his body and directly into the hands of the defender for an interception, Jackson quickly bounced back and lead another touchdown drive.
